New Jupiter Local Business Provides Opportunities to Autistic Adults... plus CHOCOLATE

There is so much WIN in this story...

A new, very unique, and delicious business is days away from opening its doors on Indiantown Rd in Jupiter - The Chocolate Spectrum. Any store with "chocolate" in its name surely catches our attention, and we can't wait to go try it! This yummy store is about a lot more than chocolate, however. The store is opening with plans to provide learning opportunities for its employees, most who have special needs.

Goodies will include chocolate covered oreos and pretzels, fudge, truffles, molded chocolate and other treats, all made by very special employees. Most of the staff have developmental disabilities or are on the Autism spectrum. For many of them, this is their first job.

The owner, Valerie Herskowitz is a speech pathologist who works with young people on the Autism spectrum. She started the program to give developmentally disabled adults an rare opportunity many others won't ever get.

The Chocolate Spectrum opens on Tuesday June 28 at 10:00am, 6725 West Indiantown Rd, Suite 38, Jupiter, FL.

For info about the store and the learning program, visit the website www.thechocolatespectrum.com or call the owner, Valerie Herskowitz at 954-980-0134.
