We have donated money, time and talent and now have created this charitable program to go one step further. The Humane Society of Greater Jupiter/Tequesta, Inc. d/b/a Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, no kill rescue organization headquartered in Maplewood Plaza in Jupiter Florida. Here you will find their main adoption center, administration offices, & full service veterinary clinic. On nearby Indiantown Road, you’ll find their thrift store & boutique, full of more than 5,000 sf of treasures including furniture, artwork, household goods, clothes, shoes, accessories & more, conveniently located across from Wendy’s. Furry Friends expands beyond Jupiter’s borders with a 27 acre ranch located in Palm City. Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch has been rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming homeless animals in our community for more than 30 years.
Adoptable dogs and cats, the heartbeat of who we are, reside at both the Jupiter based adoption center and ranch locations. Between the two locations, they have 80-100 dogs and as many cats, the latter of which roam cage free. They also have four horses at their ranch location. The ranch location is unique in that it offers beautiful, outdoor living for most of the residents and is also undergoing significant renovation, all of which is designed to improve the quality of life for each animal.
The Furry Friends veterinary clinic provides affordable animal healthcare to its residents as well as to the public. They offer such services as annual wellness checks, in-house bloodwork, X-rays, dental cleaning (non-anesthetic, twilight, and anesthetic), spay/neuter surgery, laser therapy and more. The clinic also offers an online pharmacy for all of your pet’s needs.
* Donations may be made to your own charity, but it must have the 501(c)(3) designation as a charitable organization by the IRS. Donations are made as a commission rebate to you at closing that the title company is directed to send directly to your charity "from you." The charitable contribution tax deduction is yours.
